How to choose LED lighting by room and application
VK LEDShare
Good lighting starts with the space and the job the light needs to do. Use this checklist before choosing a product or variant.
1. Start with the room and the task
Write down where the light will be used: a bedroom, kitchen, passage, shop counter, display, outdoor wall or a larger open area. Then decide whether it is the main light, a focused task light or a decorative layer.
2. Check the fitting and installation
Confirm the holder or mounting type, the available cut-out or surface area, and whether the location is indoor or exposed. Do not select only by appearance—the physical fitting must suit the site.
3. Select the light colour deliberately
Warmer light is usually chosen for relaxed or decorative spaces, while cooler light is often preferred where clear visibility is the priority. Always read the exact colour option shown on the product page before adding it to the cart.
4. Compare wattage and pack size
More wattage is not automatically better. Consider room size, number of fittings and the brightness already present. For multipacks, verify both the number of pieces and the selected variant.
5. Check the cart one last time
- Correct product and fitting type
- Correct wattage
- Correct light colour
- Correct pack size and quantity
- Correct delivery address and contact number
If the application is unusual or you are buying for a larger project, contact VK LED before checkout so the requirement can be checked clearly.
